Before You Ask
Questions we hear often.
Honest answers, written plainly. If yours is not here, the contact page is open. A real person will write back.
Health and Safety
What happens if I fall sick during the trip?
Your tour manager is trained in first-response situations. Every Good Radius departure includes travel insurance that covers medical emergencies. If hospitalisation is needed, our manager coordinates directly with the insurer, the local hospital, and your family in India. You are never alone in that situation.
Do I need to disclose my medical conditions when booking?
Yes, and we encourage this warmly. When you send an enquiry, tell us about any ongoing conditions, medications, mobility needs, or dietary requirements. This helps us plan the right room type, right seat on the coach, and right table at meals. Nothing you tell us affects your eligibility for the tour.
Is the insurance enough if something serious happens?
The travel insurance included in our tour fee covers medical emergencies up to a significant sum, including hospitalisation and evacuation if necessary. We will give you the exact coverage document before you pay anything. For travellers with pre-existing conditions that need higher coverage, we can advise on a top-up policy.
How much walking is involved each day?
Genuinely not much. Most days have one main activity, a temple visit, a boat ride, a market walk, and the rest is sitting, eating, or resting at the hotel. We plan our itineraries around the fact that our travellers prefer to walk slowly and stop often. If a site requires significant walking, we will tell you in advance.
Can I travel if I use a walking stick or have mild mobility difficulty?
Yes. Most of our destinations are accessible with a walking stick or mild mobility difficulty. We avoid long flights of stairs where there is an alternative. If you have a specific concern about a particular activity, write to us and we will check the exact situation on the ground for you.
Food and Daily Life
Is there Indian food every day?
Yes, every day of every tour, all three meals, at trusted Indian restaurants in each destination. We do not leave you to figure out local food. Vegetarian options are always available. If you have a specific requirement, such as Jain food or a serious allergy, tell us when you book.
What are the hotels like?
We use 4-star hotels chosen for location, cleanliness, and the quality of the bed. Our travellers tell us they sleep well on our tours. Every room has an attached bathroom. We do not use lodges, homestays, or budget accommodation on any departure.
Will I have Wi-Fi to stay in touch with family?
Yes. All our hotels have Wi-Fi. Your tour manager will share the hotel Wi-Fi password each day. If you would like a local SIM card for mobile data, our manager can help you get one at the airport on arrival.
The Tour Manager
Who is the tour manager and what exactly do they do?
The tour manager is a Good Radius staff member who travels with the group from the Delhi airport departure to the Delhi airport return. They handle boarding passes, airport transfers, hotel check-in, luggage, restaurant bookings, and any problem that comes up. Most importantly, they know the group by name by day one. Our travellers tell us the tour manager is the thing they remember most.
Can I call the tour manager at any hour?
The tour manager's WhatsApp number is shared with every traveller before departure. If you wake at 3am and cannot find your room key, you call them. That is the job.
Does the tour manager speak Hindi?
Yes, Hindi is the primary working language of our tour managers. English is also spoken. If there is a specific language requirement for your group, tell us when you book.
Booking and Payment
How do I book? Is there a form to fill?
No long form. Send us a message on WhatsApp, write an email to hellogoodradius@gmail.com, or use the short enquiry form on our contact page. Tell us your name, how many people, and roughly when you would like to travel. We write back with details and pricing. Nothing commits you until you choose to proceed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations are accepted in writing. The refund depends on how far in advance you cancel. More than 60 days before departure: 90% refund. 31 to 60 days: 75%. 15 to 30 days: 50%. 8 to 14 days: 25%. 7 days or less: no refund. Travel insurance covers many of these situations, which is one reason it is included.
Can my son or daughter book on my behalf?
Absolutely. Many of our bookings come from adult children arranging a journey for a parent. Whoever makes the booking, the tour is built around the traveller. If the son or daughter has specific questions about the tour or about their parent, they can write to us separately. We treat those conversations with complete discretion.
Are visas and flights included?
Flights from Delhi are included in our active departures. Visa assistance, meaning paperwork guidance and the visa fee, is included. You will not be sorting the visa yourself. For private group departures, we discuss inclusions tour by tour.
